#Christopher Pfund Universally recognized for his character portrayals of the Roasting Swan in Carmina burana, tenor Christopher Pfund has made that role a pillar of his career, performing it with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Houston Symphony, and other major orchestras in North America. While best known for his oratorio work with orchestra, Pfund has also enjoyed success on the opera stage, including Glimmerglass Opera, New York City Opera and El Paso Opera, and has recorded the title role in Britten’s Albert Herring on the Vox label and Vocal Music of Amy Beach and William Mayer on Newport Classics.
Lynette Pfund, soprano has appeared with Sarasota Opera, Opera Omaha, and the Chautauqua Opera.  She maintains an active concert career appearing each season at Avery Fisher Hall and Carnegie Hall with the National Chorale and other major companies.

Lynette and Christopher met while attending classes together at the Manhattan School of Music in 1995 and married in 1997.  They have three young children and make their home in Beacon, NY.
